Challenge
Wagner, a large clothing retailer, needed a web shop for B2C, combined with an exclusive design. Texman, the mother company of Wagner, wanted a B2B shop as well, to service their retailers. Both shops should integrate to their existing customised ERP-system and should work in multiple languages.
A big challenge for Wagner was to include variants in multiple dimensions in their web shop.
Another big priority was to make the B2B shop’s customers buying process as quick as possible, to maintain a great B2B relation.
Solution
To cover the needs of Wagner and Texman, a multisite solution with option for multiple languages is the best option. Wagner and Texman can now control both the Wagner and the Texman shop, with their respective languages from the same place. It is controlled with Tradelink e-business on a Sitecore CMS platform. Both shops are fully integrated with the ERP system of Wagner and Texman, minimizing maintenance of the web shops and ensuring live customer specific prices for the B2B customers.
Controlling Variants
To solve the problem with including variants in multiple dimensions, a special variant matrix has been included to cover the customers need of being able to choose between colour, size etc. Variants are automatically generated upon synchronisation with the ERP system.
Search Engine Optimisation
All products and categories in the shops are optimised to be found on search engines like Google and Yahoo. This means that the products are viewed more often and therefore sold more often.
Express B2B shop
On the Texman site, the customers buying process is speeded up by making a custom product presentation, matching the interaction of the typical B2B buyer. In addition, the checkout process has decreased to have customers move through checkout more rapidly.
Tradelink products provided in the solution
In this solution, a Tradelink e-business package was provided to ensure an online shop that would match the needs Wagner and Texman had with B2C, B2B, multiple sites, languages and variants.
Furthermore, a Tradelink ERP-webservice for custom systems was included in the solution, making sure that the Tradelink E-business would integrate perfectly with Wagner and Texman’s existing ERP-system, Taylor.
Result
The result is websites in unique design, matching the desired visual profile of Wagner and Texman. It is a system with full integration to their ERP system, automating internal as well as external work processes to the joy of customers, employees and B2B retailers.
Wagner is increasing sales
With the launch of the webshop, Wagner is increasing sales. Customers are finding their brand and their products online, through search engines, campaigning and word of mouth. The website is, in other words, creating greater awareness about the products, and increasing the sales, constituting Wagner as a professional clothing retailer.

The solution is improving B2B relations for Texman. These relations are growing stronger, due to fast and intelligent shopping structure in the web shop. The retailers of Texman simply get more work done during the day, because their time ordering products has minimized.

The solution is resulting in very efficient shops, where customers quickly find what they are looking for. Stockcounts are always true, due to the real time integration, resulting in fewer misplaced orders. Less time is spent maintaining shops, products, variants and languages due the intelligent software.
